As we all start the year planning our big - and smaller - adventures for 2017, enjoy this blog from a couple of the National Forest Way rangers. Maxine and Chris improvise their way through a field of cows: they know how it should be done, but we read how they actually manage, with hilarious results. It was a blessing it hadnít rained in the night. But 6am arrived and the first spots started. I bravely tweeted ďCome and walk the National Forest Way in the dry!Ē - referring to the miniature version of the route we had laid out in the shelter of our marquee - and set off to the site.
