Invitation to tender for Rosliston Forestry Centre

An invitation to tender for the management of popular tourist attraction Rosliston Forestry Centre, one of the major facilities in The National Forest, has been issued by South Derbyshire District Council on behalf of the Rosliston Forestry Centre Executive, which is responsible for the development of the site.

All smiles at the National Forest Wood Fair

It may have been wet but it definitely wasn’t a washout at the National Forest Wood Fair at Beacon Hill Country Park on Monday. Visitors turned out in their thousands for this popular event, an annual celebration of The National Forest and all things tree and timber related.
